SB Corporation awarded for Excellence in Digital Transformation

GCash, the country’s leading e-wallet service provider conferred Small Business Corporation (SB Corporation) with the award on Excellence in Digital Transformation- Public Sector during the GCash Digital Excellence Awards (GDEA) 2023 held on 6 December 2023 at the Peninsula Manila Hotel, Makati.

Now on its third year, GCash Digital Excellence Awards (GDEA) gives recognition to dedicated partners who have been instrumental in enhancing the lives of Filipinos through innovative services powered by GCash.  

SB Corporation is once again recognized for its continuous efforts towards digital financial inclusion, particularly for its loan payments via GCash Pay Bill.  The award is another testament to SB Corporation’s ability to consistently build on its success, reflecting its commitment to innovation and effective strategies in its pursuit of true service to the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) all over the country.

“We share this award with our MSME clients who have remained resilient and patient with us as we jointly worked towards digital transformation which has enabled us to thrive in an environment that is digital and technology-driven,” SB Corporation President said.

GDEA Excellence in Digital Transformation is a recognition program for government institutions that have demonstrated consistent and impressive growth in digital transactions from 2022 to 2023.
