MANILA, Philippines. Re-affirming its commitment to provide quality and relevant programs and services, Small Business Corporation (SB Corporation) has successfully achieved full International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification from TÜV Rheinland.

The Corporation’s head office and its four full service regional offices for South Luzon, North Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao have been certified as fully compliant with the ISO 9001:2015 standards.

ISO 9001 defines the benchmark for a quality management system (QMS) that provides a blue print for organizations to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer needs and enhance customer satisfaction. This is achieved through the effective application of the system with emphasis on quality management principles such as customer focus, top management motivation and involvement, process approach and continuous improvement.

According to the TÜV Rheinland’s multi-site audit report, SB Corporation has established and maintains an effective system to ensure compliance with its policy and objectives. The organization’s management system likewise complies with, adequately maintains and implements the requirements of the ISO standards.

The SB Corporation ISO 9001:2015 certification covers the Corporation’s frontline services, particularly its lending processes and corporate support services.

This third-party ISO certification that now covers the entire organization is valid from 17 July 2023 until 6 December 2024. SB Corporation originally secured its international quality certification in 2015.
