CEBU CITY . Small Business Corporation (SB Corporation) has successfully achieved full International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification from TÜV Rheinland. The awarding ceremony was held on August 16 at the SBCorp Visayas Area Office in Cebu.

Accepting  the certificate of recognition  awarded by  Sarah Jean Mayol, TUV Rheinland Branch Officer for Visayas and Mindanao (second from right)  is SBCorp President/CEO Robert C. Bastillo (second from left); SBCorp Executive Vice-President Santiago S. Lim (far right); and SBCorp Vice President for Visayas Francisco R. Buenavides (far left).

Speaking to all the participants, P/CEO Bastillo emphasized that “The ISO certification further affirms the Corporation’s continuing commitment to provide its services to its clients with utmost consideration to international standards anchored on excellence, transparency and accountability.”.

The Corporation’s head office and its four full service regional offices for South Luzon, North Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao are now certified as fully compliant with the ISO 9001:2015 standards.

According to the TÜV Rheinland’s multi-site audit report, SB Corporation has established and maintains an effective system to ensure compliance with its policy and objectives. The organization’s management system likewise complies with, adequately maintains and implements the requirements of the ISO standards.

 

The SB Corporation ISO 9001:2015 certification covers the entire Corporation’s frontline services, particularly its lending processes and corporate support services and is valid from 17 July 2023 until 6 December 2024. SB Corporation first secured its international quality certification in 2015.
