The IFAD–Government of the Philippines (GOP) Implementation Support Mission1 has commended SBCorp for its stron
g progress in delivering the Innovation Fund under the RAPID Growth Project. Held from 03–14 November 2025, the mission recognized significant improvements in investment processing, strengthened systems, and increasing contributions to enterprise development across critical agricultural value chains.



Mission Field Visits Highlight Promising Innovation Fund Investees
The IFAD Mission visited four promising SBCorp investee companies—Janicahh Foods Corporation, Green Nurture Corporation, MS3 Agri-Ventures Corporation, and Malagos Agro-Ventures Corporation—representing key agricultural value chains in Mindanao. The enterprises were commended for strong operational performance, improved governance, and meaningful engagement with farmers and value chain partners.
Innovation Fund Achievements
As of October 2025:
- PHP 74.2 million approved for 12 investees
- 93% disbursement across six regions
- Enhanced coordination among SBCorp, NPCO, and DTI
- Faster and more transparent investment processing
Strengthening Future Partnerships
IFAD also highlighted the potential of several investees to act as future promoters under the Producer–Public–Private Partnership (4Ps) model. In support of this, IFAD will provide targeted technical assistance in 2026 to further refine the Innovation Fund’s design and mechanisms that strengthen 4Ps partnerships.
