The Department of Trade and Industry through Small Business Corporation, officially launched the E-Transport Loan on April 21, 2026, to support small transport operators shifting to electric vehicles. The P2-billion facility responds to rising fuel costs while advancing sustainable mobility.

The program is open to transport network vehicleservice drivers and operators with valid Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board authority and proper business registration. Applicants affiliated with platforms such as Grab Philippines, JoyRide Philippines, and inDrive may qualify, subject to documentation requirements.

Borrowers may access up to P1.5 million per vehicle, with a cap of P3 million, payable up to five years under competitive terms. The initiative reinforces support for transport stakeholders while accelerating the shift toward cleaner and more efficient mobility.
